Every so often, my birthday happens to coincide with Father’s Day. Today is one of those days. So to Dad, Papaw, Grandpop and any other dad’s who happen to be reading this, I want to wish you a Happy Father’s Day. Below is some John Mellencamp, because I know Dad likes his music. I’m not sure what his favorite song is, but everyone likes “Jack and Diane” so I went with that. After the jump is a little something for my birthday.
I’ve had a bit of a crush on Zooey Deschanel ever since I saw Elf*. She overdoes the eye shadow a bit in this clip, but still look at those big blue eyes.
*I didn’t know Jon Favreau directed Elf until just now. I will put that up as his second greatest contribution to film, right after his role as Danny Bateman The Replacements**.
**Adam Steven David and I have a rock solid idea for a sequel to The Replacements. It’s called The Replacements II: The Re-Replaceining. It’s gonna be a big hit.

Happy Birthday Bud! It’s the longest day of the year, so you have a big day to celebrate. Nice choice for the music (could have gone with Buffett as an alternate). Thanks.

I also considered some Buffett, but most of his clips have embedding disabled.
